Adoption Policy
To be considered as an adopter you must:

Be 18 years of age or older

Have identification with your present address on it

Be willing to fill out an adoption application.

It costs approximately $600/year for food, supplies & vaccinations, not including unexpected medical care.Adoptees must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet.

Have the knowledge and consent of your landlord and show written proof of lease/rental agreement in your name (if applicable).

Be willing to have us contact you periodically for an update to help ensure that the animal successfully adjusts to its new life.

Be willing and able to pay the adoption fee(s) with the understanding that the fee is nonrefundable.
ADOPTION FEES
Cats:

Under 7 months............................$150.00

Adult (7 months - 8 years)............$100.00

Senior Cats (8 years +)................$75.00

Barn Buddies........No charge for cats requiring a barn or shop home, but donations are appreciated
Dogs:

1 Year and Under..........................$275.00

1 Year to 8 Years..........................$225.00

8 Years +......................................$190.00
All of the cats and dogs at the Hanna S.P.CA., upon adoption, unless otherwise specified have been spayed or neutered, given one set of vaccinations, a health exam and have been microchipped.
Adoption fees help to offset the cost of providing veterinary care, shelter, food and if necessary, training/behavior modification. NOTE: When paying in person cash or cheque only. No Interac.
